Fraser's Cabin Bookings

Reservation Policies

1. Before booking, please review all of our policies. We expect that if you have booked with us, you have.  
2. Upon booking, you will be charged the total amount of your reservation.
3. You must be 19 years of age or over to book with us.
4. Though we enjoy children, our property is adult-only. Please do not arrive with any children of any age, your reservation will be canceled and you will be asked to leave, no refund will be given.  
5. Depending on how many booked guests we have, we may be able to make an exception for infants (not walking).  Please reach out to us to verify this, prior to completing your booking.
6. A single pet is welcome, however, a pet fee will be charged, please indicate if you are bringing your furry family member when you book. Please select the add on Product 'Pet Fee' for $35.00
7. All cabins are for two people only, please no other overnight guests.  Any unauthorized extra overnight guest will result in a full night cabin rental fee being charged in addition, to your booking credit card.
8. GST, PST and MRDT (2% accommodation tax) will be calculated in addition to the cabin rental rate.
9. Your credit card information will be held for incidentals and damage.  You will be notified of any pending charges.  Examples of charges; damage to the cabin, contents, linens or missing items such as cookware, towels, etc.
10. If you are traveling from outside of the Province of BC or Canada, we strongly recommend trip cancelation insurance.  

Check-In

1. We will be ready to welcome you after 3 pm on the day of your booking.
2. To be respectful of all guests, please arrive between the hours of 3pm and 7:30pm.
3. You will be charged the total amount of your stay, upon booking.  Any additional charges during your stay, will be added at the time they occur.
4. Door key instructions will be sent 1 day prior to your arrival.
5. If you are arriving later than 9 pm, please let us know.

Check-Out

1. Check-out time is 11 am, unless previously agreed to.

Cancellation Policy

1. Cancellations are accepted up until 14 days prior to arrival.
2. A refund of the original deposit, less the transaction fees (credit card processing fees which vary between 2.4 - 4% depending on the card used) plus a $30 cancellation fee will be given.
3. Cancellations of less than 14 days notice will be considered a no-show, with the credit card on file being charged the full amount of the stay, less the deposit, plus applicable taxes and fees.
4. We will only cancel your reservation should our region be under a government-issued evacuation order (ie. wildfire, or natural disaster), however, should this occur, we will refund your entire deposit.

Pet Policy

1. At all times during your stay, you will be 100% responsible for your dog.
2. Dogs will be required to be on leash at all times.
3. Any damage caused by your dog, will be charged to your credit card.
4. Only one dog per cabin.
5. Do not leave your furry family member on their own in the cabin at any time.
6. Should we receive any complaint from a guest or neighbor about your dog, you will be asked to leave the property immediately (you will not be refunded).

Smoking, Campfires & Candles

As we are located in the heart of the mountains, surrounded by forest we need to have very strict ‘policies’ about smoking, candles, and campfires.  

1. We are a non-smoking property, in or outside the cabins.  If smoke is detected in the cabin post check-out, you will be charged a $500 cleaning fee.
2. If you do smoke, please do so eieither on the road or in the lower driveway area.  Once finished please dispose of your butts by first wetting them down and then placing them in a garbage container.  Should we need to pick up after you, you will be charged an additional $200.
3. Under no circumstances are candles of any type permitted on the property, these include mosquito-repellent candles.
4. The property does not allow for open campfires of any kind at any time.
5. If your cabin is equipped with a propane fire ring, you may use it under calm conditions.  Your cabin will come equipped with one, 20lb propane tank to be used for the fire ring.

Age Restrictions

Guests must be 19 years or older.  You may be asked to present a valid government-issued ID to verify your age.

General Conditions

1. Fraser’s Cabins and Experiences is an adult-only offering.  Being this close to the back-country, wild animals, and varying terrain, we feel that children are not an appropriate fit for our offering.  Please do not arrive with children, you will be asked to leave and will not be refunded.
2. Our tranquil surroundings are enjoyed by many local residents so out of respect for them and other guests, we ask that you approach our location with minimum noise and speed.  Motorcycles are welcome, but cracking throttles are not.  Should we receive a complaint from another guest or neighbor, you will be asked to leave the property immediately (you will not be refunded).
3. We ask that as our guest, you respect others who are staying with us and our neighbors.  Quiet time is between 10 pm and 8 am.  Any complaints received from other guests or neighbors will be communicated as a warning.  Should the noise issue not be resolved, you will be asked to leave the property immediately (you will not be refunded).
4. You are welcome to have guests drop in to see you, however, we ask that you respect other guests and our neighbors.  Should we receive a complaint, we will ask all of your guests to leave immediately.  Keep in mind, you will be responsible for the conduct or damages caused by of any guest who visits you.  Damages will be charged to your credit card.

Payment, damage Policy

1. Accepted payment methods; Visa, MasterCard, and Amex are accepted at all times.  Debit cards and cash may be used for other purchases ie. tours, and products.  If Debit is used to secure booking, a security deposit of $500 will be taken.
2. A pre-authorization may be taken, using the credit card supplied, in the form of a ‘security deposit’.
3. If it is determined that there are damages, Fraser’s Cabins and Experiences reserves the right to deduct the amounts from the pre-authorized amount.  The guest also acknowledges that the pre-authorized amount does not limit the right of Fraser’s Cabins and Experiences to exercise or pursue any remedy available in law or in equity for breach of this agreement, including, but not limited to, damages to the property or finishes, furniture, or any other costs or losses resulting from the negligence of the Guest.   
4. Should it be determined that there are missing items, ie. towels, cookware, and propane after the guests have checked out, Fraser’s Cabins and Experiences will charge the credit card on file for these items.

Personal Injury & Liability

1. Fraser’s Cabins and Experiences will not be liable for any personal injury or damage to personal items (or vehicles) while a guest is with us.  
2. We request that guests use caution while on the property, being mindful of sometimes uneven ground.  
3. At times, there may be wildlife on the property and guests should be very aware while outdoors in the evening and at dawn.
4. At the time of booking, guests will be asked to review and acknowledge our waiver.

Property of Fraser’s Market Cabins

1. We supply a cooler for your use while you are staying with us.  Please do not remove the cooler from the property.  If you need a day-use cooler, we may be able to loan you one.
2. Bug repellent is for guest use while staying with us.  Please do not remove it or take it home with you.  You will be charged for a replacement.
3. We supply one block of ice for each cooler, this is to get you started.  Should you require additional ice, we can direct you to stores and outlets locally.
4. Supplied towels, throws, shower slippers, comforters, linens, dish towels, etc. are for use only on the property.  Please do not remove any of these or take them to the beach.  The cabin slippers are for you to use and keep.  You will be charged for missing or damaged items.
